flower market in bkk

I'd also like to feature the flower market in bkk. We took a ferry up (40 baht one way), which was quite nice, hot and like a crowded touristy ferry ride. I didnt really know where they got the tickets from but apparently some of them got the tickets before they boarded the boat, so I dont know if they had it cheaper or not heh.
Given that i DONT like people buying me flowers, cuz its so expensive and a waste of space back here, coming here was different... cuz look! 30 baht for like one BUNCH T.T i was like oh man i love it, cuz its cheap yet pretty. Rather practical i know, but when do you actually get to buy cheap flowers? and they're really pretty roses. (: so SBB was like oh you want i buy for you. $1 plus only anyway. But then i didnt want because it would be hard to lug around and what would i do with it once i brought it back?
Again, being too practical heh.

i had a rose in my hair hehe so pretty. But as soon as it came on it dropped off. We didn't need to buy this because the aunty was kind enough to give me one short stalk out of the whole bunch. And it was a plastic bag of rose heads! for 70 baht and I was like how about one? She just waved me ahead to take it. So happy (:

My nails hehe (: Went to get it done for $10. Never done an acrylic manicure before. So it was an eye-opener or rather a learning experience. Just use some acrylic paint and a really fine brush to paint on the patterns. I guess it will take some practice but I'm game to try.
